| Moonhero said: X1 will beat the Wii U here-and-there I'm sure. But overall, I still think the Wii U is going to win this Christmas. I see that many users have listed a ton of games coming out for X1, but many of those are going to PS4 as well. And buyers seem to be flocking to PS4 over X1, so I don't think a large list of 3rd party games is going to be a reason X1 is going to give a beatdown to Wii U. I still think Smash is going to go ape shit this Holiday, and people are going to be buying the Wii U/MK8 bundle + Smash Bros. |
exactly. WiiU>Xbone as far as second console value goes. Majority of people who want big third party games are going PS4 (see basically every 3rd party spike and pre-orders for big third parties and advertising for everything 3rd party minus COD).

My denial? Those were facts.
MCC was #14 on Amazon's Best sellers list in June, #52 in July, and #32 in August. When I went to pre order the MCC at Gamestop a couple of weeks ago, they said a lot of people were pre ordering it. If you are basing MCC numbers off of VGC pre order data, they are very unreliable in the numbers.
Selling well for a collection would be 1-2 million copies. The lowest selling main Halo was Halo: CEA at around 2 million. This will be the "main" Halo game till Halo 5, so expect it to sell around 4-5 million. If Halo CEA with just a single player in HD and a map pack for Reach was able to sell ~2 million, then 4 games will sell crazy.
Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287
