Haven't been called a jock for about 12 years. Then again the other pimple faced nerds who used to call me a Jock in disdain shut up when I went to Harvard and they barely got into JUCO.

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

PS3 is doing better than it did last year (even if I am convinced that the sales indicated here are higher than reality ; )

PS3 has shown great improvement yea!! for it.

 

edit: I am stating that I think you have a weak sense of humor if you did not realize what I wrote in response to Fishy was a JOKE.

That is damned impressive for Sony.. it looks like they are turning this around after all. I think a lot of the sales increase had to do with the death of HD DVD though.

hmmm, this is an interesting turn of events, I just wonder what spurred the sales of the PS3 since nothing came out, or was it that the wii's sales just dropped of dramatically, or perhaps it's a combination of both.

Either way I'm glad to see the PS3 on top of the US sales for once.

I'm just confused by the PS3's sudden downfall in Japan. It actually looked for a while like it would stabilize at a higher rate of sales than it had before the holiday season and now it's just as bad if not even worse.

The Japanese just don't seem to be interested in video games anymore.
