Super Smash Bros. for 3DS coming in discounted double pack in Europe

Nintendo Europe has announced a special bundle for the forthcoming Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. The bundle will include two copies of the game for a discounted price.

Umm.. well that’s about it, there’s two copies of the same game and there’s a slight discount. There’s no exact pricing details of course and we have no idea if its coming to Australia or not.

Here’s the box.

That's interesting. I guess it's meant to make up for the lack of download play?

Really hoping this releases down here seeing as their are 2-3 of us in my house that will play it

Oh, this is interesting i do have 2 3ds (one xl), and i would love to play with my bros.
Tempting, but it most likely cost around $85 if the discount comes to aus ( same price as a new wii u game)

This could definitely have sales benefits. Families will pick this up because if you are going by the average ratio of two kids per married couple, none of them miss out on the game.
Nintendo can pull off a smart marketing move with this if they like.

I am considering getting the double pack, just so I can have one copy to myself and gift the other copy - or even keep it so I can play it with my partner.

I hope they do this in the USA. There are 3 separate 3DS's in my house, for me and my sisters, and we'd all want our own copy.

I think this is the first time I've seen two of the same game in boxes sold as one. Sure, there were many with multiple licenses, but multiple boxes? Tell me if I'm wrong.
