More common huh? You've provided a load of proof. Wait I see no citation. Also it should go off a % pirated. Not how many copies. Anyone can download a torrent on the PC. Doesn't mean they actually played what they downloaded. Console gamers could falsely download torrents in an attempt to alter numbers. Other groups download tons of those games just to prove a point. Not actually playing or even using a single one of the copies they downloaded. Also doesn't mean it wasn't purchased by the downloader.  The PC market is larger than consoles when it comes to money with a much larger userbase.

This would suck for me. I waited for GTA V PC. If it is true I just don't buy the game. I don't like switching were I bought a game series.

I wouldn't want to wish this to PC gamers, even if a select few were mean towards console gamers. It's a version that has been heavily requested and they were so happy when the announcement was made at E3.

I can't belive you people actually fell for this obvious troll. I mean come on Cockingham? The alleged source never existed, there is no such company as rantic, their website has only ever been that fake "hacked by 4chan" page. Foxweekly is also not a real news site. And besides that, there is no way in hell someone who worked in marketing would publicly put their name too something like this, let alone post it on their alleged company website. They would never work in the industry again, even if Rockstar didn't sue the shit out of them for breaking NDAs.

Seriously this thread has really lowered my opinion on the intelligence level of most of the posters.

it would be a really shitty move if rockstar cancelled the PC version. i hope they dont.
