Forums - Nintendo - house of the dead fans, just so you know

Some people really won't care at all, which is fine, but for those not in the know....

House of the dead 2 & 3 is not actually a new complication. It's really just a port of house of the dead 3 for the xbox (which contains house of the dead 2 as a feature).

Any xbox or 360 owners who also own a wii and are pumped for this game, you can pick up the same product right now at eb for $18.

Is a lightgun available, and how much does the lightgun cost?

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Except you'll also need at least one light gun, which go for at least $20 each.

And you can't use light guns with LCD TVs.

And House of the Dead 2 emulation on the 360 is horrible.

But otherwise, yep, great suggestion. Now you, too, can have a more expensive, buggier version of this great game which probably won't work on your TV anyway!

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

@Zen

to be honest.... im not sure.

@garcian
thanks for the info on LCD screens.

while we're on the topic of light guns though....

wii owners, if you have yet to pick up a gun accessory, get this one instead of the zapper (unless you really need link's crossbow training)

oh, and HotD3 kinda sucks. I guess my real suggestion is get a dreamcast ($20) and house of the Dead 2 ($10).... and just use the DC controller.... :)

Heh, or I could just get it on the Wii, which I already have.  Are they updating graphics at all?

^^

no to the graphics

it will be a shame to give up on teh dream cast--i could just set the ret in the middle with the controller and fire/reload fast enough to never have to do anything but that and beat the game

The Wiik in Review said that Sega is adding something extra to it but did not say what.

You're mistaken. The Wii-zapper is not a lightgun! The Wii zapper will work just fine! Even on LCD screens! It's a wii-mote with extra plastic that's it. And you get Link's Crossbow Training on top of that =P

@freetalklive

hmmmmmmmmmmm. i hope it's something worth while.

also, don't quote me on this, but i think sega bass fishing for the wii is really just sega bass fishing 2 for the dreamcast. so, even though sega says they're adding a bunch to 'sega bass fishing,' they're really just implementing the stuff from 'sega bass fishing 2.' like i said, don't quote me on that.

any 'sega bass fishing' authorities around?
