As you know, Xbox One will launch in many new territories in September. How do you think this will play out, Will this lead into a holiday of massive sales or will it only serve to give a short boost?

Also any thoughts of what will bring up sales in the future?

I think sales for Xbox One will be respectable this Holiday but nothing to brag home about. I think next years Halo 5 Launch will be followed by massive adoption from the 92% or less of last gen gamers that have not bought in yet. This year Xbox will shake off the bad vibe and See substantial sales when Hits Like Quantum break and the like release. The first party games sound great and will bring lots of the last gen that have not bought in yet.

It will probably increase sales but not enough to make a difference compared to the ps4 but it might be ahead of the wiiU though (at least in terms of weekly sales)

Vgchartz here I come. Seems it's been lots of Doom threads every time I stop in. Time to cheer up the xbox community even just for a week.

It will give Xbox One a decent boost. Problem in september is that destiny PS4 bundle will launch giving ps4 boost also. Halo MCC and november will see good sales for xbox but i think it will really start taking off at least in NA when halo 5 launches.

I do think that's what it's going to take to get the last gen 360 owners to adopt. Either a new gears or halo. Obvious Halo will launch first.

September? Big boost for XBOne if they play their cards right. It'll obviously lead to a holiday boost, but how large that holiday boost is relies on Microsoft playing their cards right for the months after September.

Honestly, i dont think it wil do much... Maybe 50-100k boost, and maybe a few k boost to the baseline. Microsoft really needed halo to hit this holiday... Oh well...

Launching in these "new" territories will just boost sales for the month of September. This is largely due to the fact that the XB1 is currently being sold in stores in these "new" territories.
