well I can say the Xbox One offers virtually nothing different than the PS4 except for worse specs and a handful of exclusives

Wii U has completely original hardware and Nintendo is actually a game developer which releases solid titles

But hardly any games take advantage of the Gamepad, and the specs are even worse than XB1. XB1 also has as many solid titles/exclusives. Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Forza, Fable Legends, Halo, Killer Instinct, Dead Rising, Titanfall, ect.

Wrong.  Most games are in fact playable on the gamepad itself, which is great for those sharing a TV in a household.  Also the gamepad acts as a tablet, has a mic, camera, motion control, etc.  True the specs might be worse than an XB1, but XB1 has worse specs than PS4 and if you own a PS4 you don't need an inferior piece of hardware that does the EXACT SAME THING.  Also, Dead Rising and Titanfall are available on the PC and have much better graphics and performance compared to the Xbox One.  Killer Instinct is a niche fighter and there are much better options out there.  The other games I can't really comment on...

Because GT, Uncharted, and those types of multiplats sell the best on PS4.

Edit - and yes you can.

You can certainly generalize but you can't quantify.  I enjoy Halo, but dislike Killzone.  I play the hell outta some Bioshock, but am also willing to throw in Mario 3D World and run around in that style of game.  Diversity in selection is key for a lot of people.  The "I only play sports and CoD (or insert your game style preferences here)" type of gamer is not the representative of the market as a whole.

Yeah, no. We won't even go there, no Master Race (of any kind) bullshit in here, please

You can't go wrong with PS exclusives+Nintendo exclusives+Third Party.

I agree with that.

The Wii U is the main and only console I'm gaming on. With that said, the XOne and PS4 could be a great secondary console.

We're talking about vs WiiU/PS4, not assuming every owner of those has a PC strong enough or would even want to play it on PC, I wouldn't for one. That's still an incredibly weak use for the gamepad and hardly makes gameplay more fun does it? It's just another 'function' of which XB1 has plenty more.

Your opinion on KI is irrlevent, the fact of the matter is there are plenty of decent exclusives on XB1 just as there are on WiiU.

And I'm right there with you. (in terms of game tastes) my point is on the whole, if you have to generalise, a PS4 gamer is more likely to enjoy XB1 exclusives than WiiU's.

Wii U owners can get most of their third party games on PC. There's not much need for a PS4/Xbone, imo, unless you're bound to home console gaming. In which case, PS4 + Wii U suffices quite well. Xbone is very irrelevant.

This is also a very interesting thing I see written a lot. Basically because PS4 is a bit more powerful with multiplats it makes XB1 irrelevant. Was PS3 irrelevant? No because it had awesome exclusives. Same as XB1.

Yeah, but no.

PS exclusives have way more relevance.

MS has some good studios and a long way to go. Not the same thing.

In my opinion, the Ps4/Ps3 is the perfect secondary console for me being a primarily PC gamer. Why? Because you will not find Tales, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Persona, and all the other amazing Jrpgs on the Wii U. The only games I'm interested in on the Wii U are Xenoblade X, SMTxFE, Zelda U, and Super Smash Bros. I won't buy a console for four games:/
