No question about it, it is the perfect complement. Althought it should be avaliable with a decent Hard Drive (I know about the portable HDD thing, I am just lazy).



My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Very few people are actually talking about taste...

Nintendo typically have more exclusives but people are acting like PS4 and Xbox have no more then 1 or 2 exclusives announced for future. For secondary consoles it all comes down to who's exclusives you're next eager to play and thats entirely down to taste. If you don't like platformers half of the Wii U exclusives immediately become irrelevant. I don't like racing games so I never acknowledge exlusives like Drive Club or Forza...

Whether you game on PC or care about last gen releases may affect whether you view some of XBO/PS4 titles as exclusives or not. I don't game on PC, nor am I interested in buying last gen console releases if theres a shinier one out there.

That is no reason. You can easily concentrate your online gaming on one console and have the other for the offline exclusives.


It's  becoming harder and harder to get the most out of any game without ever needing to take it online for some reason. Publishers are doing this on purpose.

That's a lot of money to pay for an extra console + online access for a small handful of exclusives, several being only timed-exclusive.

Alsoa  secondary console with FULL PRICED GAMES, even old ones, for an entire gen....not a good choice.  At least PS4/Xbone old games will be cheap, off-setting a Gold/PS+ sub several times over.  Or a gaming PC with cheap Steam games off-setting te initial cost.


So, Wii U actually a bad secondary console.

- Expensive system
- High priced games all gen

Others:
- Expensive system
- Cheap games that offset the cost of console and any subs.

This really irks me actually. Even the games that don't sell ala Pikmin 3 are still 30 quid or more at most stores.

It's just not a good primary console, that's all.

You can if you have a 3DS

Its never quite the same as home console, especially the case for local multiplayer. One of  Nintendo's greatest qualities.
