If rain physics made things fun I would just drive while it's raining.

Anyway, I usually don't like pure racing games, which is why I'm unsure of Driveclub. I like the open world of games like NFS MW/Carbon. I'll try out Driveclub (getting part of it for free, so why not), but not sure if I'll actually buy it. Forza looks more interesting, but I'm also skeptical on what there'll be to do in the opne world. If it's just races, I'll pass. If it's like Burnout Paradise, I'm in.

It's been awhile since I played Burnout, so I don't really remember what all there was to do. I know that FH2 has races, barn finds (classic cars you have to find on the map and then restore), and bucket list challenges for each car. Not sure exactly what else it has gameplay wise, but the developers claim there is over 100 hours of content just in solo play, so I'm sure there are some other gameplay aspects too.

Yeah, that sounds pretty interesting, especially the barn finds. Burnout had a lot of awesome things like stunts as well, and the car collision physics alone made driving around crashing into everything worth it.

If Forza has even half the stuff to do, it'll be worth it.

In the video, sun came out and you can see the rainbow in Forza clip. So it looks shiny and colorful. The driveclub clip has no sun as it is raining heavily. Can't really compare the two. Both look good though.

One other thing I cant understand about the statement of 'open world' in case of Forza. Racing games are not like GTA, there are not a lot going on, not much interaction is there. It just loads a track and the environment and keeps loading as you roam. Why is this even an argument?

Both look great but it is a strange comparison since one displays rain without sun, and one displays rain with sunlight. I kind off prefer the dirtier, grittier style of Driveclub graphically, but FH2 beats it hands down thanks to its open, world style.

This makes zero sense, why didnt you have issue with this in the ryse versus infamous debate. At the end of the day one looks a LOT betetr then the other, doesn;t matter how the design is at the end of the day and being open world style I find boring, it does not make a game automatically better.

That's moronic and spin...DC is in another league then Fh2, it's not even close, Fh2 will be jaggied as well.  DC is beautifull, Fh2 looks like a cross gen title.

Cool but many don't, track racers are far more popular, I find open world racinf game spointless boring and easy. Anyone can drive in a big open space.
