Planetside 2 Creative Director Mathew Higby joked about the console version of Plantetside 2:

"We’re all getting a ton of benefit. Even if you’re not a console peasant you’ll appreciate what you get out of the console game."

Now before everyone goes crazy, this is very obviously a friendly jab, and shows how lighthearted the relationship between console gamers and PC gamers should be, unlike the flame wars between the two sides all too common today. Even Sony realizes it...

The problem is when calling people peasants or calling yourself a master race comes into play. That's just ridiculous and makes you sound like the worst kind of people. Friendly banter is good and all unless you say delusional stuff like that.

Obvious joke, but it says enough about some 'PC Elitists' that they actually take this serious.
