isn't that TW101?

In terms of sales it did bad, but if we are talking about the quality of the game, then its one of the biggest success stories of the gen. One of the best games ive ever played.

I imagine W101 will actually see a pretty decent but untracked uptick with the release of Bayo/Bayo2. I wonder if it hasn't already seen a decent uptick over time as word of mouth affects sales.

Expect a Wii Sports Club Wii U bundle in time for the holidays

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

the game was out digitally in bits and bobs. I think some of it was free at one stage. I doubt many people pay money for something they can get free.

I bought it cause I only have physical games. If i was into the digital world I would get it digitally for free at the time.

Overall yes it would be a bomb anywya compared to the original as well the Wii was build for that game.

Considering most of it's sales came through digital, and it did quite well digitally, and that this complete set retail release is basically just a "if you want it" type of deal, then no. They originally made WSC as a digital promotion, where you could buy the sports you wanted, and didn't have to get all of them. I'd say insofar as what they originally wanted from it in that sense, that it's a success.

I'm disappointed it took 20 posts for someone to use sense. We don't know if it's a success of how much of one it is, but pieces of the package have been available digitally for a long time now. And if you bought a sport or two  individually from the eShop, I'd imagine it's highly unlikely you'd go pay for the entire package on disc. That would be a waste of money. And day passes are actually reasonable. People like me may have guests over twice a year where we'd want to pull out Wii sports.

Long story short, we don't know if it's a bomb or a success. But considering how cheap it had to be to port and a lot of its sales come from digital/rental that can't be tracked, it's definitely not the "bomb of the generation." Especially when the generation just began.

Not going to vote, as the one posting this poll doesn't seem to get the Wii Sports Club business model at all.

Care to provide the excuses please

Not unless you care to phrase that whole thing a little more sensibly.

Yes and maybe. It did bad at retail but since it has been on the eshop for a good time now who knows but nintendo how well it really is doing.

While I was looking for a game to buy on WiiU, I saw WiiSportsClub as a pre-order. I was quite excited about getting a HD release and hoping Nintendo will bundle it with the white WiiU to promote massive sales.

Instead, all we got was a game that did not even receive a 1% of marketing/promotion. None of my friends knew the game existed for WIiU.

Extremely disappointing from Nintendo. I was waiting something way bigger considering we talk about Wii SPORTS!

Yikes it did terribly. Probably didn't get much marketing either though. Kinect Sports Rivals also did bad but not nearly as bad as this game.

wouldn't it be hard to say, since there downloads of seperate sports games, not to mention some people who just buy 24hr passes (can't imagine many do that but...)

Well comparing it to it's predecessors extremely
