Possibly Madden.
Would cost them insane millions but with sony giving ea the cold shoulder and ms wanting to be #1 Madden would be the biggest game changer ever.

not really a big fan of Fallout 3 so I wouldn't care
CoD.
unrealistic, but is the only franchise that still sell more on xbox that on ps.
| Burek said: Saints Row - another franchise that is probably defunct. Brand name is still popular, and a step in the more serious direction could resurrect it. While it may not compete with GTA, it could certainly battle for #2 with Watch Dogs, Sleeping Dogs or some other dogs. |
What? No, I'm pretty sure Saint's Row is doing very well for itself. A lot of people believe Saint's Row V will be announced soon, as Volition supposedly has an unannounced title to reveal at Pax. Saint's Row: The Third sold a ton of copies.

Then I can't wait until it happens once again!

I think microsoft should take the money they would have used to purchase exclusives and just purchase actual xbox one systems from retailers then give them away for free. That strategy would probably bear more fruit.
Dead space I reckon. They can't really afford to buy out really big franchises, and TR is not what it once was and is really in a rebuilding phase. RE is similar but I think MS wouldn't go there unless RE7 turns the franchise around. At least not for a numbered sequel, an exclusive spin off game is definitely on the cards.
If MS pursues a policy of making established multiplat franchises exclusive they deserve severe criticism from the gaming media for spending boatloads of cash on sequels instead of investing in new IP. Buy exclusive access to new IP ffs, that's how gaming moves forward, sharing risk on new stuff, not shutting off access to old stuff.

I think that SR4 went full retard, and unless they want to clean up and get more serious, they have nowhere else to go. A third parody in a row would probably bomb badly.
I could see maybe Saints Row or Darksiders going exclusive next. Or they could continue the trend with Square Enix and go Sleeping Dogs 2?
I'm still going with Titanfall. Sure it's not really an established franchise and it has never been on any other platform but the devs kinda confirmed that the game will be multiplat the next iteration.
But I think MS's and EA's wallet will have something against that.
