According to the DF article the significant of the resolution difference is somewhat lowered by the dark colours of the game. The raw pixel count difference is obviously pretty large, but the end product is relatively similar. To quote them exactly (from the 1st pic comparison):

"On the face of it, a 912p vs 1080p resolution differential is pretty big. The combination of good anti-aliasing and low contrast art equals the playing field somewhat. Pixel crawl/shimmer on movement - something we can't show in a screenshot - is where PS4 shows the biggest improvement."

I'm guessing you missed my sarcasm

It seems i did

They do look very similar though. There is an rather noticeable blur to the X1 screens, but overall it's definitely one of the smaller 900p vs 1080p difference.

912p? That's a weird resolution

It's locked at 60, that's the most important. But, not to start something here, didn't the developer say both version were 1080p?

We should sue Deep Silver.

This is pretty impressive for both consoles this early in the generation. I thought 1080p and 60 frames wasn't going to be doable in this gen.

Smh 1080p 60 fps was doable last gen. Devs CHOSE higher gfx fidelity over IQ. What I think you meant to say was this gen seems they can nice IQ and gfx fidelity.

Damn it. I was hoping for 917p... Oh well, will do with 912p! :)

Can't remember but as PS4 is 50% more powerful as repeated a million times how could both versions run the same?

Except they don't run the same. One of those has a 1080p while still maintaining 60fps.

I know it was doable last gen. I meant that with all the graphical improvements in this gen, trying to achieve 1080p and 60 frames seemed to be an impossible task due to skepticism all over the internet.
