I wouldn't really say Wii U is holding it's own. It's behind the Xbox One, which people are (rightfully) saying is getting massacred in Europe (outside of the UK).


But there are several Wii U games in the top charts. Accumulating them all and saying, "Nope. Wii U is not" is very one-sided, don't you think?

It just tells us that WiiU has few games that sell well, but those that do sell quite well in France. It's the library overall that is lacking. But it's quite similar globally anyway. Mario Kart 8 represented like 65% of WiiU's software shipments in the April-June quarter despite launching late May.

One WiiU game in the top 10? One WiiU game in the top 20? In a combined list, the Wii U has a total of 3 games in the Top 50.

It's performing quite poorly.

And more significantly, the overall sales are more important. These software sales show there is little interest in the Wii U library (Top 2 PS4 games outsell Wii U top 10, likewise, the 10th placed PS4 game outsells the Wii U's 4th, and PS4 11th, 12th etc probably outsell Wii U 4th also), and with little library demand, hardware sales will not recover.

PS4 SW> XB1+ Wii U SW. Impressive for France.

XB1 Titanfall 55k vs 360+PC 43k seems the ports were well worth despite exclusive advertising. I suppose that is why forza horizon 2 is coming to 360.

No in france Wii U is second last only to Vita in the console market, Mario Kart 8 IS holding its own, despite that.

Ok. If you say so, buddy. I'm referring to Nintendo dominating the top 10 charts for the past 2 months, but you're that person who feels that your favorite system has to be better than Nintendo's - so whatever floats yer boat.
