Did you mean to only compare US sales? I dont know how anyone could think the PS3 did better in the US during its first year than the 360 did. Maybe WW.

The guy ssj responded to mentioned US sales several times in his post. There was no mention of WW sales.

Stores around me have plenty of 360s... even Elites are now available (there were elite shortages around here about 3 weeks ago).

MS claims shortages but that does not seem right. Also both Amazon and GameStop have all 3 SKUs in stock:

the stock issue has been resolved now. so 360 sales should increase next week.

the 360 shortage excuse is getting really poor and old. why cant u guys just admit that the 360 isnt selling.

face it 360 has a pretty driy year ahead compared to ps3 and wii. i live near a walmart and i went their two saturdays in a row for school projects, and they had like 15 pro consoles in the glass case, tthen i went back the other saturday and there were 13. same with bestbuy my cousin tells me. or maybe its just canada...

They do seem to be improving. Three weeks ago, you could go to BestBuy.com, Circuit City, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. and all their in-store stocks were minimal, with well over 50% of stores out of stock on Pros and Elites.

Now it appears to be around 70-80% with Wal-Mart around 90% in my area.

We'll see if it changes sales numbers at all and if the 360 supply was marginally contained or drastically short.

Well the excuse was pretty good when it was the case. Seems like it is in supply now maybe ramping up for a nice price drop. Think they said it would be sorted out by March which is not that far away heh.

The Halo model is definitely a different sku from the Premium considering it is $50 more than the Premium.

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
