I liked it a lot, though I hope that you're purposely not including SW:Episode 3 because the franchise was made more than 20 yearsago, because they aren't even in the same league.

Are you saying Serenity can't compete with SW: Episode 3?

I beg to differ...but then again, I only saw Serenity once and it was a crappy viewing (too much talking and distractions)...I'll have to re-watch it soon, I just never get around to it.

Fox did a horrible job at promoting it. They didn't even show the first episode first. Instead they showed the second episode as the premier which was confusing.

I could never really get into star wars. It is just way way way way to far fetched to me. I like things that have an equal balance of reality and fantasy/scifi. There was barely any scientific facts behind technology in sw. My favorite scifi show is stargate sg1 because it has both religion, morals , science and culture inside on package. It is scifi but still contains reality in it. Same thing for stargate atlantis.
