Grand Turismo. It has gone from a fun game to a crap franchise. When you put all the work inti graphics and nothing else you might as well just let the cars stay on show room floors to look at it.

Halo, for sure, that would make MS have to try much harder.

Can't argue with that one bit. I actually wasted time and $$$$ running out to buy the first one, because I mean, it was Mario and Sonic in the same game, and I thought "It's GOT to basically be as fun and accessible as Wii Sports, but with Mario and Sonic characters, right? How could it FAIL?"

Then I forgot that Sega developed it. They SHOULD have let Nintendo develop the damn thing, or at least hold a tighter leash on it's development, because I must say, if the first was any indication of the series as a whole, that shit played like garbage. It was actually embarrasing how bad the controls were, and how unfun the games were. To this day I think it still holds the distinction of being the only game I've bought and returned in a 24 hour period.

As for my own personal pick? There are many franchises that are popular that I don't care for, such as Tomb Raider, AC, Halo, God of War, Gears of War, GTA, etc. There are also series I used to love that I think they need to quit fucking up and just put to bed, like Castlevania, Mega Man (basically already is), Final Fantasy, etc.

But my top pick is an obvious one: Call of Duty. That shit has been going on far too long, with bascially annual sequels. Activision has given it the Tony Hawk/Guitar Hero treatment, and it is beyond old. They don't even really try to innovate. But they don't have to, because millions of kids (and 30-something brohams), run out and pre-order each new edition anyway. If people enjoy it, good for them. But even in the oversaturated FPS genre, there is far better, IMO, than CoD, and it's just long-since worn out it's welcome.

just dont like them. well I liked halo but i feel they are running into the ground.
