If you could pick a franchise from Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony and just kill it, which one would you kill?

To make this simple, a franchise for this purpose has to be console/Brand exclusive. 

It must have at least 2 titles released to be called a "Franchise".

Please give the system name(just in case a newb shows up), The name of the "Franchise", and the reason that you want to kill it.

This is meant to be fun, so please try to keep it in that realm.

I would kill Mario and Sonic Olympics on the Nintendo system. They have to be the worst cash grabs that I have ever seen. Each version seems to be the same thing with the names just replaced.

Battlefield. It has gone so far downhill from 3 onward I don't think it will ever be redeemed. Certainly not to 2, 2142, BC2 days.

Gears of War from MS

Resistance or God of War from Sony

Yoshi or Wii Fit from Nintendo

God of War, PS. It just seems to have run its course, barring a complete reboot with a new setting, at which point they could just as well make it into a new franchise.

Last years version was so bad, that I almost wanted to quit playing shooters altogether.

Might as well kill all the TPS.

No one said they can't make a new IP thats TPS in a different setting with different characters with different story

Killzone.

It had some great moments, but I really think Guerrilla should move on to something else. And it seems they are doing just this, according to the latest rumors.

Nintendo - Gotta echo the Mario and Sonic games.

XB - Halo. Only reason is I want to see what they can do without their #1 to fall back on.

Sony - Killzone. Got progressively worse, time to go.
