Yep!

 

Next week, I'm going to be interviewing with a video game company (of which I'd rather not disclose yet) as a company analyist - working on using market analysis to help them make more, and better selling games.

Anyone have any major sugguestions for doing a good interview? My resume is rather....Meh when it comes to the industry, aside from being a professional sports writer a few years back.

If this is a specific game company that actually develops games, tell them some of their titles that you liked.
The best idea, of course, is to convince them that they need you. Tell them what you bring to the table and why you are a better choice than other games.
I have little experience in applying for jobs, but I have been told some of this by a lot of people.

Remember to be confident, yet not arrogant. Really sell yourself, positives not negatives and all that.

Make them think that you are an asset. Tell them the number of hours you spend gaming, prove you have a passion. Using your knowledge, you could help advise about what to do.
