While I can't say anything about M3DW, I agree with your Knack's statements. Yeah the game wasn't the best platformer ever but didn't deserve 55 metacritic at all, I think it was pretty challenging and fun like in the old days. My only complain is that Knack lacked some more charisma, the game had potential.

The sad thing is, this is probably a joke thread and you don't think Knack is good :( because of this:

To each their own I guess. Although, I haven't played Knack. 

The only ppl who I could see liking Knack over SM3DW are those who needs a story in order to move forward into a game. In that case, these ppl don't play games for the gameplay but the stories and imo they are not real gamers. (I know, I know! ppl will ask me who am I to judge who are real gamers or not. I don't care, that's my oppinion, deal with it!)

SM3DW has better music, better gameplay, more creativity and is much more challenging to 100% (I still have'nt beated that second secret world, and I completed all 242 stars in galaxy2). Imo, SM3DW even looks better, so colorful while the destruction of objects around knack looks cheap and seem from 2008.

Superior..in YOUR opinion. I don't have one, since I never played the game but everyone has their own idea of what a great game is.
