You are expecting too much of the Wii's hardware, this means the Gamecube hardware, that is well below the Playstation 2 and Xbox in terms of graphical technologies and horsepower. Don't expect anything better than barely Dreamcast graphics. This is Nintendo's fault because they chose old, unchanged, unoptimized hardware on their console only to fill their corporative pockets with the poor buyer's money. They are a bad company.

Hmm, I didnt know that the Wii was third powerful. I thought the xbox was stronger. But that does that Wii devs are being lazy and not treating their fans.

 In raw power they are equal but if you add in efficientcy and speed the wii is at least 1.5 times more powerful than the xbox. Imo opinion it is 3 times more powerful than the xbox and 4 times less powerful than the 360.

I agree with TC 100%, any game on the wii that does not have wide-screen and progressive scan is bullshit. It just comes down to devs being lazy shits who dont give a shit about the end product.

I didnt buy Ghost Squad because of these problems, but that could almost be forgiven because its just a arcade port budget title. With ToS its a fairly big RPG title that should have 16:9 480p, for the little effort it would take them to do it, it would greatly improve a lot of players experience with game.

On topic yes the game should be widescreen and also the game is running on  above of the game cube version specs so more polygons.

I have vista too. Just take the mouse and click move to the right of the black bar. Keep it highlighted and it reveals what is under the black.
