For me it was simple. I just wanted to have a name with ice in it. I was thinking for awhile, and I came up with icecube. Then I realized, that name is already taken by someone (famous rapper). So I then just came up with iceboy. The number at the end was the age that I was when I created the PSN name

So why did you choose your PSN/Gamertag?

Started as JMurph53. My name and football number in high school. Then changed it to UEG Murph because of the Halo clan im in. Then changed to Murph JL cuz I wanted something new for XB1.

Mine is based off a VERY obscure Marvel character. The captains name and some of the transport haulers number.

Mine is pretty self explanatory, played FF VIII and loved it... The Squall_10 was my email address first so was logical to keep the same

I like the name Kurtz and i hate numbers and random letter in my gaming names. Captain sounded regal enough. Boolah!

Name, first 3 letters of my last name and birth year. Easy.

I was really interested in dinosaurs at the time I created my PSNID, so I chose the biggest dinosaur known at that time.
