Pre-order DLC is a simple way to advertise a game. I can imagine the TV commercials ending with "Pre-order now on select retailers for bonus DLC costume sets!"

Select retailers giving out the bonus DLC will definitely advertise the game through in-store posters, magazines, and internet ads so consumers will buy it at their stores. But it's up to Nintendo to market the game even further.

What do you guy's think?

I think Nintendo is getting desperate.

I hope they advertise it heavily now so at least everyone can comprehend which dlc they have to buy for what and from which retailer to preorder from.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
