Forums - Gaming - Don't you hate it when people buy a system, sell it, then rebuy it again?

Well if it's a Wii they probably made a profit. So that's cool.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I sold my fat DS and bought a Lite. Have I earned the Wrath of Soriku?

(KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN- I mean, SORIKUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

I completely agree. Never understood why people sell their consoles and rebuy. I still have my Xbox although I never really fell in love with this console.

I never sell anything I bought, let alone rebuying. But maybe I'm an exception.

I bought 3 wiis. I sold my first wii to gain a profit of 100 dollars. Then I sold my second wii and got a profit of 200 dollars. I am on my 3rd wii now. So that isn't too bad there is it.

It is very annoying, though I don't know anybody who's done it personally

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

Sure, it's a hassle. It's their hassle. If they want to waste their time shuffling their money around, they can do that. I'll just be over here climbing the assassin ranks.

It's not annoying to me. I've done it before. I owned a 64 during the launch cycle and was paying $110 for Star Wars Shadows of the Empire and $80 for Mario 64. It was an expensive endeavor and I was a 12-13 year old kid using christmas and allowance money to pay for $100 games. I sold it as a trade for a Playstation and got more of my money's worth. Later on like a year or two later, the N64 pricing was under control and there were more than 10 games out for the system so I bought a new one. I don't see how something like that is annoying. Some people can't get a new system unless they sell an old one.

Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.

I sold my SNES and rebought one ... I sold my NES and rebought it ... I sold my PSP and rebought ... and resold it again ... I sold my PS2 and rebought one ...

It's a vicious cycle ...

I know a guy who did just that to play Halo and Halo 2 respectively.

I wouldn't do anything like that, but I figure that's his perogative. Doesn't bother me none.
