ya thats to much for my blood.. but does help illustrate the point :P

Not true, though. If you're suggesting that the game stops being interactive movie on Survivor difficulty, you have the problem of Survivor difficulty not being unlocked from the start

It never was one. The game has 2 hours of cutscenes in a 15-16 hour campaign. Whoever calls it an interactive movie is delusional. Every third person shooter ever is an interactive movie in that case. Gotta love when a game is so good that you have to make up things like it's in a different genre.

What are you talking about?!? The game launched with 130k in the UK last year, that the remaster manages to launch with 70k a year later is amazing, don't try to spin that.

What are you talking about? I'm not trying to spin that it sold well (aside that I thought it would sell better, but this is only one day of sales since the game released at the end of the week so its likely higher). I am talking about the comparison to a WiiU title for which the consoles in question are disproportionatly populated at a 3:1 ration. Don't blame me, blame the OP for making such a stupid comparison.

They are both major brand names (game, dev names in particular here) for their respective console.

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

All of a sudden it's not surprising? Just days ago we have threads saying TLOUR should not exist, and it's an unwanted and overhead remaster. But now people are all oh so 5th largest launch in UK for the year so far...totally expected, why wouldn't it outsell Nintendo's number one Mario franchise, aside perhaps from SSB which isn't out yet. Man the hypocrisy. Honestly if someone had done a poll 2 days ago asking whether TLOUR would have a higher week 1 than MK8 in the UK I would have picked no. 50k would have been my pick for upper limit for TLOUR week 1.

The game has like six hours of cutscenes/interactive cutscenes, not two xD

The comparison is actually pretty valid or do you think that TLOU:R is going to outsell MK8 because of the higher installbase of the PS4? The sales expectations for this remaster are way lower than MK8s.

To act as if it was expected that it would outsell MK8 or that it was expected to sell over 100k first week in the UK (Seriously?) is clearly trying to spin this great success of TLOU:R in the UK.

So much salt from one game.
