@ stof: He likes fighting games, shooters (rail-, AND first-person), sports games, and platform games... We've been playing Wii Sports/Play and virtual console games more often than not... Does that help? I would really like to get him a game that will help him get used to a significantly higher difficulty with the Wiimote that isn't quite hardcore...

@ tokilamockingbrd: I'm not sure your suggestion will work, as my brother tends to sink, rather than swim...

Well, SSBB will be a good game for him, he set the CPU's on like level 2 or 3 and they will fight him, but it will be easy for him. Also the single player is co-op, kinda like Kirby(I used kirby co-op to get my little bro into videogames) so you can "carry" him until he catches on.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

@ jlauro: I'd get him DDR, but I kinda have two left feet, and I believe my brother has the same affliction... And as for skills... I don't really know, I mean, the guy barely ever gets off the couch, let alone out of the house... Now that I think about it, I really should just treat him to dinner... Get him out the door... So I'm just gonna do that instead and put this on hold... Later, all!

Then you may want to look into Super Swing Golf.  It's a quirky sports game outside the realm of the hardcore, and has more depth than the Wii Sports golf.  I'd add one caveat, though: the game may prove to be hair-pullingly difficult (although you did say you're looking for "a significantly higher difficulty").

Umm...although IDK you bros. age and interests I would suggest Super Smash BB and Mario Kart Wii.
Those games are fun for most age groups and most ppl who get a wii

er get cod3 b.c us ed that he likes shooters...

in fact a portion of ppl who get the wii get the game for super smash
