That's why Bioshock sucked so hard.

half life I got nervous whenever I saw water, those creatures were my only downfall in that game

It looks like I'm in the minority. I love water levels.

I personally LOVE water based levels in game...I think it's due to my love of the ocean/water itself tho'...I swim in it as often as I can and scuba dive when the opportunity presents itself...
I loved playing ECCO on Dreamcast because the whole game is underwater!!! I would play that game for hours, without "playing" as such, just exploring as much of the levels as I could...A next-gen update with co-op would be awesome but I know i'm in the minority
It was always fun to watch Lara Croft drown in the TR games...I'm probably going to get a Wii later this year mostly so I can play Endless Ocean...mostly...

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

I acually hate water period.

Except when drinking it. Or maybe a swimming pool.

Remember the movie The Ring where that chick falls in that well and shes in water up to her neck? where that one crazy little bitch supposedly died?

DAAAH

ya..weezy has some sort of waterphobia. I would hate to be in the middle of the ocean(mind you we havnt even explored 50% of the ocean) with no land in sight with god knows whats in that water.

 Do you take showers?

LOL

Maybe I'm just old, and remember what it was like for Zelda games to be hard, but I think that the Water Temple in OoT is the best part of the game outside of the Forest Temple, and that one wins out solely on atmosphere in my mind. To me, this BS about collecting bugs and crap like that takes away from the Zelda experience and makes more like Banjo-Kazooie.

It's a damn shame that Nintendo hasn't realized that a lot of people don't want that in their Zelda games (say, Japan) and that they are proud of themselves when they make a massive game that is mostly filler and forsake a noticable portion of the challenge to do it. Now you don't spend 2 hours trying to figure out complex puzzles, you spend it killing BUGS for god's sake. They obviously didn't kill the puzzle aspect (thank god), but they sure have diminished it by adding filler.

Seriously, I wouldn't have given TP a score in the 9 range either, so I back Gamespot's rating. Nintendo could have made that game half as long and it would have been twice as enjoyable.

Anyway, water levels can go either way.  Some are great, like OoT's Water Temple, others suck horribly like in TMNT for the NES.  Most are somewhere in-between, like the water stages in SMB.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

WW is on a 1.5 GB disc, and it's not amazing. It's just a relatively empty field of water for the majority of the map. That takes virtually no space. And no talent. Also, if that counts as a water stage then it's the worst I have EVER played.

Only OoT.
MM, WW, & TP had good water temples.

Yeah, I hate water levels in games too. It's such a cop-out. Just give me more of the game.

I dont like water levels in Mario and I did not like the Water Temple in OoT, besides that I am cool with them. TP was tough, but did not anger me.
