Hm, perhaps you misread my original statement?
I argued in favor of not voting to move on to day 2 (which implies yes, that folks would rather vote on other members), and playing out day one to assertain as much information as we possibly can. Which is happening.

As for RCT, he's been harping on his distaste for day one since the game started. His non-play has continued ever since.
In fact, his play to keep this game stagnant has been quite interesting as well.
And going for the "fellow townspeople" line? As Severa once said, GAWDS! *rolls eyes*
We've certainly had our share of interesting play on day one.

No misunderstanding. You argued in favor of action vs inaction, ie we should vote someone out instead of going to the next day without doing anything. How come you currently have no action? Clock's ticking.

Distaste for day 1 isn't proof of anything. A townie with a power might want to use that power to get actual info instead of wasting time going off of nothing solid. Just sayin.

Okay, yes I'm bandwaggoning. The reason is that I would really like the first day to end already because it's the most painful to get through and there has to be SOMEONE to eliminate. outlawauron simply had the most at the time. Honestly, I feel like that most people are covering most of the basis that we can and I don't really have anything valuable to contribute at this point. I'm always pretty quiet unless something is directed at me because I don't like drama (funny how I like mafia games, though....) I would be tempted to abstain and unvote, but I've flipped-flopped already and I would feel like I would lose too much trust and not be a good reliable townsman for our city. Then again, personal integrity is always more important than what people think of you..... I'm kind of thinking through this as I type... Would 2 people be eliminated if my unvote brought it closer to a tie?

While I can sympathize with the loathing of Day One (I do too), the "I'll kill anyone to get it over with" stance ain't exactly pro-town. Also the fact that you seem to be basing your every move on how you'll be perceived is a very scum-like take on things.

@Bold: Then that means you're reaching.

Despite my "inaction", as of now action will take place tonight. Just like I said would be beneficial. Would you look at that.

@Italicized: And I would argue that RCT's comment is indeed proof of his non-play.

I'll be back, my food is here (for real this time)

So in other words, you agree with the RCT decision, but you disagree with Sparks' desire to push the vote up so as to end the day and waste good investigation time. Good enough for me. Town read smeags.

No reaching either. You misread my post about clock ticking. It wasn't phrased too neatly, I admit.

It wasn't even your idea. prof mentioned the statistic first, I asked where he got it and also asked for other peoples' experience. I could just say you and outlaw parroted him.

Nothing here either. Historically, plenty of town as well as scum have pushed for skipping day1. It means nothing.

I said no such thing.

@underlined. This has been discussed in and out of this thread ad nauseam. The best move on day 1 is to use deduction to choose the best lynchable candidate. There is no such thing as waiting for roles to make a proper move on day 2.

Which is exactly what Smeags was in essence saying. You play day 1 as best you can rather than deferring to day 2.

I'm saying that a townie might think that. My point is that simply saying 'let's get day1 over with' isn't proof of scummyness.
