I'm following the flavor, which said the attack came from the sky. By his own admission, he's some kind of flyer, and is dumping suspicion on one of the top suspects to try to deflect that (one who is decidedly NOT a flyer, whatever else he may be.)

I think a flip for whiteeagle is the best way to clear cone, or not. Shoot him, flip mafia, and cone's basically cleared (then we can move on to RCT). Shoot him, flip town, and we can go on to lynch Cone

It says FAKECLAIM, not SECOND CARD
The fakeclaim is to guard against gaming the theme, not to give scum fake powers they can claim in the event of a mass roleclaim.

In recent games (I dunno, the past 20 or so over three years) Fakeclaim has always just meant a fake name. Like, all the townies are robots from megaman, and the mafia (megaman, light, roll) are also given names of robots that aren't in use by the other townies in order to prevent a mass nameclaim.

Why would he even claim anything in the first place? None of that is evidence, it's all circumstantial.

Not to mention that a flip for whiteeagle doesn't clear or condemn cone.

Note: when I say I'd like to shoot him, that's just my opinion. The final target will be town's decision.

It would appear you missed this post, which explains that it is quite possible both of us are telling the truth. Which whilst I still have my suspicions of WhiteEagle, I can't deny it is a possibility
