If i was mafia and knew that padib hylian and nickels and prof were town, I would try to set up the next series of mislynches by removing someone who argued with those three, and would also flip town.
This would make those three look bad and conversely make sparks and rct look better.

A lynch could easily be pushed on any of them for being noob mafia removing obstacles. Possibly something to do with multiple teams. This would set up a good lynch of maybe hylian or padib day 2. Once that comes up wrong, maybe push one of p adibs parrots day 3. Then possibly a lurker next?
Since that seemed to backfire, I would think the next option would be to go directly for a lurker. Can anyone looks through posts to see who might be pushing for a lurker? Eagle or wright or another lurker?

However, killing you would have accomplished the same as killing me...you seem to think exactly as I do, have similar suspects and town considerations. I have to ask myself why take the chance on me?

Sparks has been like a less blunt and more savvy version of the prof, but fishing much in the same fashion, trying to sow suspicion.

I'm willing to look elsewhere than prof for the moment due to spurge's sacrifice, and sparks looks a good target, but i think the obvious shaky stories are Conegamer and RCT. I'll make a decision on the morrow as to which to cast my vote for, depending on how others seem to react. (Wright's anti-cone crusade has me suspicious as well).

Might I ask what is shaky about my story? I'm happy to provide answers to any questions you have to try and clear this doubt from me so we can work together and identify a Mafia threat rather than fighting amongst ourselves. So, anything I can help with in particular?

Killing the person who is accusing you the most is a death sentence. I was chosen because it discredits hylian padib and nickels. RCT would've done the trick but he has a vest...or so he claims. You could've sufficed, and likely would have had less attention than me.

Not necessarily. I remember reading a mafia quicktopic after a game was over. They had chosen someone who was quiet but was on to them, and let the most investigative player live because he was going after townies so aggressively. They thought it would be benificial to let him live.

That's why I thought Cone protecting padib was a weird choice. They would have let padib live anyway, since he was directing town in the wrong direction. Regardless, Cone couldn't realistically have known that padib was wrong about me, so I let it go. In Cone's eyes, padib was now a confirmed townie, and therefore impossible to mislynch, and thus to him would be a target and needed protecting. Only spurge, with his experience in meta on VGC, guessed correctly and protected you last Nighht.

The point I'm trying to make is, I think you're overestimating the average player. Things are usually much simpler. Don't focus solely on what you would do. Think of what the average player would do.
