The Pats defense looked god awful tonight. Some questionable play calling as well, and other than some heroics by Brady (that 3rd and long TD turned out to be the game changer/saver honestly), it was a badly played game on all sides.
They both look vulnerable.

did the Seahawks really trade Percy Harvin to the Jets for a mid round pick? is this real life?
I'm sure Percy is not happy with this....

That IS surprising. I hear some folks are putting it down to scheme and budget issues. Considering how often he was out last season, the Seahawks will probably be fine: I wonder how the Jets will be changed now?

I was shocked when I read your post, but when I went to NFL.com to read up about it, it doesn't seem that crazy anymore. Looks like the Seahawks got rid of a player that added nowhere near as much on the field as he did to the salary cap. |
Bevell just wasnt using him right. Harvin should have been a deep threat, but was mostly used for screen passes? Either way, Harvin is worth more than a conditional mid round pick. Its like the seahawks were just giving him away. Stupidest trade I have seen in a long time. Dont know what the crap the seahawks are doing this season...
Poor Harvin. Hopefully he can escape that dying team and end up with a good situation. Philly, SF, Broncos, Indy, a lot of teams would really be able to cash in on his speed. How mad would people be if the Cowboys got him to run special teams and 3 wideout plays lol.

They lost to the Cowboys. They may as well start rebuilding the team now, otherwise they could become the next Oakland Raiders, a team that never gets out of the cycle of rebuilding. |
Ugh, I have sat through enough seahawk rebuilding years. They basically were the raiders almost all of my life, they only started getting comptetive in the last decade. No need to start rebuilding yet. They can sub in richardson to play the percy role if they need to. Just wished they would have gotten more out of him... but I am hearing now that Harvin asked to be traded, so they could take the scraps that were offered or sit on an expensive unhappy player... I guess they made the right choice, it just sucks...
