Help of having 2 versions and then Amiibo will help big time, but sell more? I don't know and to be honest they need to do an amazing job. Smash sells well, but not compared to other franchises so they would have to do a pretty good job of marketing, but then I don't care what sells more than the other really because it's Nintendo, I want them all to sell well and Mario Kart 8 is doing amazing so if Smash Bros does as well then fantastic. Don't get why people get so bothered about if something will sell more, same company who make these games anyway lol.

I thinks thats partially because MK8 is setting it up for a kill. I think which ever game came second was always gonna move more systems. Of the two games I want Mario Kart more, but Im not gonna buy a wii U just to play MK8 so Im waiting for Smash!

I agree though Smash has a more dedicated base, MK8s is larger though.

As much as smash has with tournaments and stuff Mario kart has had a bigger fan base for a long time and is such an iconic game that everyone knows about. So I think Mario kart will outsell smash

Well it depends. If you mean just the wii u version of Smash, then I think MK8 will out sell it. But if you count Smash sles on the 3ds aswell then smash will win.
