I forgot to response to this one, but thought I'd bounce off it anyway. 

Shokugeki in particular is sorta funny, since Food Wars isn't actually a translation of the title, nor is it used in Japan as far as I know, it was just added for the English manga/anime release. I have a habit of saying Shokugeki on its own for the reason others were stating...also Food Wars seems like something you might see on the Food Network cable channel and not an actual anime.

Attack on TItan is a funny exception for me, since the English title really doesn't make any grammatical sense, I just got in the habit early on I guess. Boku no Hero Academia used to annoy me, since it seems like a waste of syllables and characters for something easily translated, but over time I just got used to it, since Japanese possessive words are a bit more nuanced than English, and "Boku no" echoes Deku as a character pretty well.

The first word in its Japanese name (Shokugeki, Mahouka)

Or basically the third option.

So far out of the new stuff, I've watched Holmes of Kyoto, Island, The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar, Harukana Recieve, Angels of Death, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord.

Out of these ones I watched, I'm dropping Island. Angels of Death is on the chopping block.

Out of the other new anime that's out already, I plan to watch at least a episode or two of Phantom in the Twilight, Hanebado!, Planet With, Cells at Work!. I just haven't gotten around to them yet.

Watched Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion. I really like it. It will probably be new anime of the season for me. The art style is nice.

I kinda wanted to say something about Tokyo Ghoul but..... meh. Very meh. I'm gonna pretend that last season didn't happen.

Chio's School Road ep 2. -- Manana is my spirit animal.

It looks like Grand Blue Dreaming is an Amazon Prime show. FYI for those who prefer using legal subs. I'll try it out tonight probably to see how fun it is.

That just leaves Yuuna's Hot Springs, and Attack on Titan, which both come out tomorrow I think. Curious how anime-only fans will react to this season of Attack on Titan. I loved this arc in the manga but apparently it bored a lot of people.

Past that, I'll keep up with Angels of Death, I liked the second episode and the tone seems pretty interesting. Will I keep watching Demon Lord Isekai harem though? Top 10 greatest anime mysteries right there.

Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion ep 1 -- Interesting timing, considering "The Ghost of Tsushima" game Sony is making. This would probably be a good starting point for those interested in that. Tsushima is an island between Korea and Japan. It was an important location for traders and merchants but it was also a target for pirates--and, more importantly, it was always the location the Mongols attacked first so they could use it to stage their invasion of the mainland.

This anime is about a former samurai and decorated warrior who ends up exiled as a prisoner on Tsushima. The plan is to use these prisoners to help fight the Mongols.

The first episode was good. It looks like some of the other prisoners, mostly pirates and bandits, are going to become part of the resistance along with the main character. Lots of blood and fighting, obviously. The Japanese Princess who governs the island is an interesting character, plus it seems there are other players involved.

Grand Blue Dreaming -- Looks like the Isekai plan failed. All the college freshmen in the anime are now 20 years old. Japan takes underage drinking very seriously. The "shameful acts are not encouraged" disclaimer cracked me up.

Hataraku Saibou is just amazing. I always watch it ready to look up new terms and inform myself about all those different cell types. You can get a lot more out of the show if you know a bit about the human body and its cells.

Other than that I'm happy that this is probably my lightest season ever. Haven't watched everything yet but even if I picked p everything I just found mildly entertaining I'd only be up to 11. This is gonna be a very pleasant season.

Yuuna's Hot Springs was better than I was expecting. Not amazing or anything, but it had enough funny moments for me to keep watching. The part where the girl was hiding in the wall with her butt sticking out was great, felt like something I would expect out of Tony Tony Chopper. I like the main girl and the guy seems pretty cool so far. No idea about the rest of the harem yet, though the cat girl seems pretty purrfect. Seems like it'll fall on a lot of the usual harem cliches, but if the main duo stays around I probably will too.

Grand Blue is hilarious, might be my favorite comedy this year if it keeps up. Good lord these people drink a lot XD I was dying when the guy woke up, thinking he's late, only to find out he's already at orientation. Or when he asks for water, gets some, and finds out he can light it on fire. If this manga doesn't end with liver failure then I'll assume that caption is a joke and it really is an isekai. Or that they just are immortal for some reason.

Also I like those two girls in the midst of all the man-service. Seems like I might be in for some nice healthy incest.

Also apparently I lied about Attack on Titan, I guess first episode aired at some event but the season proper doesn't air for a few weeks. I guess that probably wraps up my seasonal list then...only one I might drop is Holmes in Kyoto, we'll see if the next episode keeps my interest.
