Another season of overlord, my hero academy, black clover and attack on titan. It's gonna be a good season.

My most anticipated show of next season is Happy Dugar Life. Read the manga and I am very interested in seeing some scenes animated...gonna be gud.

I remember you mentioning this one in the Manga thread a while back. It seemed pretty fun so I added it to my list. Don't really like bro humor, but on the other hand, a healthy cast of male and female characters is also nice, so we'll see.

I also read a funny tweet by the author:

"By the way, this is about grand blue, but the genre it is in is "isekai fantasy".

Isekai -> A world in which the age of drinking is different than the real world.

Fantasy -> the existence of demi-humans who can chug high-grade alcohol in one go.

Grand Blue is an Isekai Fantasy. Got it?"

Sounds like he found the perfect excuse to let underage characters drink. Finally a good isekai anime.

That's very heartwarming.  I'm glad Isekai is getting the hero it needs instead of the hero it deserves.

Actually, all the characters are in college, so ... ah, Google says the drinking age in Japan is 20.  How very clever of the author, reclassifying to Isekai.  And, yeah, their normal alcohol is "80% by volume".

My favorite characters are Azusa and Aina.  The manga improves a lot when they show up.  They add some much needed layers.

Overall Thoughts: I already gave most of my thoughts earlier, so no need to write a long paragraph like last season.

Only big surprise here is that I decided to give Tada-kun my AOTS this time. While MHA might have been better produced overall, Tada-kun was just a super enjoyable ride with so many fun characters, and was just a really enjoyable time overall. Got a bit melodramatic at times, but it had me smile and laugh more times than I can remember, and for that I'm giving it my personal AOTS this season. 

Otherwise, All Might is an amazing person, and Erina continues to be a rare case of a shounen heroine who is not only competitive with the MC, but superior to him. Sorina got a lot of focus this season, but even then it was pretty close with my other blondie ship, and All for One basically wins his category by default. Finally...everyone should watch Hinamatsuri. It's delightful!

Winter 2018

So hard to choose my next show now. Normally it is clear to me which show to pick.

But of course as I type this, I look at my other tab and kind of already decided on Tokyo Ghoul (All 3 seasons).

That's kind of odd.  I mean, Teresa is only 3rd best girl in the anime.  Forth, if you count the cat.

Not that odd, since it isn't a harem best girl and best ship aren't necessarily the same. *adjusts glasses*

Even if was true for me in this case. Hm...

 I did like the glasses couple I guess...even if it felt like a gag pairing after their focus ep. Nyanko Big needs to give up on Cherry-chan though...his cat toy has been there all along...

Watched 2 new animes this season so far.

Island, which is just normal trash. And Hanebado, which is amazing trash.
