2015?

Yuri Kuma Arashi, because that is the sexy way.

A bizarre yet beautiful love story, with bears, Gau Gau.

2015 had some good anime, my choice is

Punchline was a very interesting show with plenty of twists and fun character's to keep you engaged and the plot really keeps you guessing til the end.

I didn't watch too many shows from 2015, only about 12 shows.

I really enjoyed Arslan Senki though.

Jeez, who made that poll?  Oh, yeah ... tch.

Anyway, Girls Und Panzer movie was the best anime produced that year, though I guess that doesn't count.

If we're talking about series, then Non Non Biyori Repeat, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Is the Order a Rabbit??, Sound! Euphonium, and Hello!! Kiniro Mosaic are all good choices.

However, I give it to Shirobako.  It was original, had likeable characters, fantastic voice-acting, lots of cameos and references to other anime, and it maintained exceptional quality from start to finish.  We often see cute girls in a high school anime club but with Shirobako, that was just the starting point, as the series was about young adults trying to carve out a career in the anime industry.

Also, I could watch Ema doing the Angel Dance forever.

Hm.  Might be time for a rewatch.

Darling in the FranXX Episode 17

Holy shit, Mitsuru and Kokoro actually had sex, looks like the baby theory is coming true, now we just need a positive test.

The Blue Omi Theory was also confirmed this episode as we see Hiro is growing a horn.

Nana is definitely dying soon like within the next couple episodes.

Place your bets people on the final villain, the Doctor, APE, the Nines, or that Princess?

So I watched 2 more shows.

The first was Ao no Exorcist Kyoto Saga. A nice season of continuation compared to the end of last season. Some good character development for the protagonists. Unfortunately the villains are a main criticism as they are pretty random in my eyes. And we never seem to receive an epilogue on one of them despite an entire episode dedicated to post boss fight. Also I know the show is about the students but dang the old people always seem useless. Good animation and soso OPs and EDs.

The second show I watched was Urahara. This show is quite odd. I got some Powerpuff girls vibes mixed with Troll 2. Also LMAO a talking fried shrimp. The animation is pretty weird and I skip the OP and ED. The first animation I watched from this studio. The action and plot were a lot more interesting than I had envisioned. I also loved the space stuff as usual, quite imaginative.

2015 was pretty hardcore. For me it had one 10 rating and a whooping FOURTEEN 9s. That's probably a record. Shirobako is also a 10 but started in 2014 so it doesn't count.
So the only logical winner here is Junketsu no Maria as the uncontested best anime in 2015.

The other 14 highlights were:

Gakkougourashi
Non Non Biyori
Rolling Girls
Working!!!
Hibike Euphonium
Shokugeki no Souma
Subete ga F ni Naru
Death Parade
Haikyuu
Grisaia no Rakuen
Gochuuman wa Usagi desu ka
Shirayuki Hime
Wakaba Girl
Owarimonogatari

The vote is a sham.

2nd half Jojo Part3 is peak Jojo so I cant see it losing

Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda!!!!

Masotan -- I really like Morris.  She's a really good person who is way too hard on herself.

The dynamic where all the dragon pilots have trouble liking themselves is interesting.

Pretty Derby --  I'm starting to dislike Spe-chan.  She's downright stalkerish.  I'm so glad Grass Wonder kicked her ass.  She deserved it.  Maybe it will be a wakeup call.

Megalo Box -- It's stylish but it's not actually all that good.  Main Character gets the hell beat out of him but doesn't give up, blah blah.  It's like a boxing version of Fairy Tail.  Why are they even wearing those augments?  It doesn't look like it adds anything to the sport at all.  It seems to be there simply to make the MC look like a bigger underdog but they really just come across as useless and goofy.

Ep 3 of Last Period already won the season.
