Since you only take one option per person I'm gonna go with Yuuki Yuuna season 2. I've loved the 4 episode so far and the first 6 prequel episodes were awesome. It's the anime I look foward to the most each week and I'm really excited and nervous to see how it's gonna end.

Not sure what I would nominate for AOTY as of late I been rewatching older stuff as I don't have the patience to wait a week for a new episode these days lol. Now I usually just wait till the end then watch in a sitting or few..

Nothing you watched this year? o.o Nothing at all? Winter 2017 season was a long time ago...sorta.

I like to have a backlog show to watch simultaneously with seasonal stuff, but there's a charm in coming back to something week by week too. I have a Sunday routine where I watch Sangatsu no Lion every morning, and it feels...cozy I guess. Not sure if I like one way of watching more than the other.

Anyways, Shokugeki first cour finale was lit!!!! Have to rewatch that last scene again. Was a little annoying at some of the pacing, animation, and scene changes this season...but that reveal was nailed. Can't wait for Spring.

Yeah I watch full seasons because I hate waiting if there are cliffhangers or something exciting between episodes. I dislike it as well if it is between seasons, but I can tolerate it. I also like to skip filler. And finally for super long shows that I love, I like to extend the lifetime of that show.

For example I watch a few seasons of One Piece a year. I skip all filler, I skip all the worthless intro, leaving about 14 minutes of each One Piece episode. If I watched that once a week, that would just be terrible. Instead watching 10-13 episodes of it in one or 2 nights amounts to basically a movie's worth of content to watch instantly and I don't have to wait if there is a big cliffhanger, can go straight into the next episode. And again, since I am like 400+ episode behind it is nice to always have that much to watch on a whim and prevents burnout with  the series if I take it in chunks.
