Got my package from Japan today :)
4 books of around 100 pages each. I skimmed over it and looks fairly easy to read. Sadly it doesn't seem to go much further than the anime but at least it looks pretty good for a 4-koma.

I really REALLY hope they animate The Promised Neverland soon. Just not too soon.

I read somewhere that the manga was intented to be pretty short, so if it ends in the next few months, I think there's a good chance we'll get an anime soon. They'll wanna boost the volume sales as much as they can while it's still selling.

We'll see though, I don't understand how anime studios decide these things sometimes. My Hero Academia is getting 25 eps this year, while SnK is getting 12...despite the latter having much more content to adapt. I don't mind, since I'm much more interested in MHA, but it's still kind of odd.

If an author can end things on their own terms, I'm always happy about it... that being said, please no. It's one of my favorite manga to read. You're tearing me apart here.

For SNK, the manga comes out monthly rather than weekly I believe, so while it has more content atm, I think the anime will catch up sooner  (despite the 4 year wait) Also I'm happy you gve BnHA a shot. I remember not liking the first (of the anime) as much but apparently it was rushed due to scheduling. However, this season is said to be way ahead of schedule, so I'm hoping the animation we've been seeing in the first 2 episodes is consistent.

SukaSuka (What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?) - with what has to be the best english title this season we have a anime that given the directors past record could have easily fallen apart in the first episode. But what might be my biggest surprise this season this was actually pretty damn great. Like all the characters so far and the music throughout was just outstanding. Im really interested to keep watching to see how it got to that flash forward scene, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Scarborough Fair at the beginning somehow did all the work necessary to build a world of magic and wonder with the somber tone setting up what feels like it will be an inevitably dark show. I just clicked on this one during my lunch break today, and it was worth being a few minutes late back to work.

Yeah...I'll be sad too...but considering how many of my favorite manga get stretched beyond all reason, I can only be thankful the author has an exit plan already.

Good point about the release schedules...didn't think about that.

I jumped into Hero Academia after the first season, and love every bit of it. I didn't mind the first season, since I realized pretty early the series was a coming-of-age story, and needed time to build up the cast, but it definitely gets better as it goes.

Probably taking this off-topic now. You should stop in the manga thread sometime. It's usually just me talking to myself and Cloud and Poko posting cute pages, but we could use more regulars.

Still have to watch some of the new animes but I might have found new best girl :)

I see what you mean. I defintely love the series I read, but I certainly would rather it end on the author's own terms and pacing.

I'm a little hesitant to be in big threads like these tbh, if only because its a bit harder to keep track of everything. Though jumping into this wasn't bad at all, and I am very happy you invited me, so I'll be more than happy to jump in the manga thread.

Finally finished Joker Game, meh anime.

Will have lots of free time soon after I beat Persona 5. Plan to watch eventually for now:

Nanbaka
Trickster
My Hero Academia S2
Hand Shakers
AoT S2

Trigger just can't help themselves saving anime all over again every week. Best Girl this season has been likely decided by an unexpected challenger.

LWA was B-E-A-UTIFUL this week. I was incredibly happy with Boku no Hero's execution, but Trigger blew everything out of the water. My favorite studio and my favorite new long running manga series. ooooh its a good season.

Little Witch Academia episode 15 was one of the best yet, that subtitle-ception was a nice touch. Professor Ursala is a clear best girl contender.
