Looks like I have currently 76 episodes in my backlog of this season. Let's see how much I can shave off that tomorrow.

Is www.working supposed to be a comedy? I can't tell.

It certainly is a joke compared to the original. Why aren't you laughing?

Too disgusted.  Half the characters are trash.  I thought maybe this was supposed to be some kind of meta-drama about bullying where one of the half-way decent characters goes on a rampage at the end and tortures all the abusive assholes to death while saying Hollywood one-liners like, "you can cash your last check ... in hell," as the torturee tries to scream through a mouth stuffed with chocolate.

I voted Yuru Yuri...just for that tomato clip I see a lot.

Weekly Thoughts of Week (Thoughtful ones)

3-Gatsu no Lion: Ah...fun to learn how different shogi is from chess. *takes notes*

Maybe it's just me, but I feel some sexual tension between Rei and Kyouko. Probably shouldn't ship in this, but I hope to see her again. Even if she is...a little crazy. I feel bad for her, considering the kind of family she was born into.

Jojo: OH MY GOD SERIOUSLY

Kira is like...DIO levels of OP now. This tension is insane. Literally Kira is fated to live and all the heroes are fated to die. How can they even win?

I can't wait for next episode...and see how Josuke wins this. One thing you can always count on in Jojo is the villains getting their comeuppance. I'm sure this will come back at Kira in a reeeeeally bad way.

Hibike: Ah Kumiko you cute derp...

Asuka's backstory is interesting...she's the legendary heir to the Euphonium. Hopefully she finds a way to go to Nationals and see her dad...this would be really depressing if she doesn't.

Bungo: Cheese n' rice what happened?

Frick...I want to enjoy this anime, but the pacing and story flow is just awful sometimes. How convenient is it that right away the good guys get the top secrets plan to beat the Guild's base? Now we already have Tora-boy in the ship, learning it will blow up, brief conversation that the Guild used to be good (literally like one line), and now MC has to fight Edgelord for some reason. Hopefully it slows down a bit...because it's hard for these scenes to leave a real impact when they fly through it like this.

Haven't watched Keijo in a while. Haven't dropped it yet...just haven't felt interested. I'll probably marathon it when it's over.

Since it is my poll, I'll ramble a bit about some of the shows I have watched from what is pretty much my favorite genre, shoujo ai / yuri. At least one each day.

Yuru Yuri

This was actually the first one I watched (besides some heavy subtext series, but that is for another time). Yuru Yuri right now is pretty much the most popular show/manga from the genre, and for good reason.  Is very lighthearted, tons of fluff and cute characters, not really much in the way of drama or tragedy, just a cute slice of life, not being overly physical on the yuri as well, because of this, is a nice beginners' show, really easy to get into for anyone that wants to get started on the greatness that is the love between 2 female characters, and beyond that is a really nice comedy that I can recommend to anyone regardless. Also for the perfection that is TOSHINO KYOKO! And tomato pajamas.

So, Oreimo... I dropped it cuz I got bored with it but I just saw an unrelated video that had the guy from that kissing his sister (who was wearing a wedding dress)... that never actually happened in the end... did it? Cuz if so... *puke*

Yes that is how it really ends.

They marry each other in the end for a few seconds to feel like they were really together and immediately dropped the wedding to live normal lives as brother and sister. But you can see that in the end they still have feelings for each other so who knows, they might end up together or not. The ending was left open.

A DanMachi spinoff was just announced to be animated.

So this is supposed to be Aiz's perspective during the events of DanMachi? Not quite what I was hoping for, but I thought DanMachi had a lot of unexplored potential (and a metric ass ton of unresolved and unexplained plot lines), and I'll take another piece of the world while waiting for a continuation. Although I don't know if the ending to the first season was kosher to the source or not. I get the feeling it wasn't considering it felt very improvised anime and I think I heard they pretty much rushed right on through all the available material in less than one season when it was airing, so I'm wondering if they'll just retcon the season one ending if they ever do make a legit season two.

As a fellow network admin, this is awesome.

Seriously? That`s messed up in all kinds of ways! Please tell me that they found out one of them was adopted or something so it isn`t quite as fucked up? Also, WTF would the guy (can`t remember his name) want to be with his own sister more than Kuroneko? Like seriously, Kuroneko was the best girl in that anime by far!

Nah as far the anime goes they are blood related, although in the game there is a route where they find out that theyre not blood related, but that's not canon. He did date Kuroneko for a while, but she dumped him, so she could find out his real feelings which is that he loves his sister and lost him to her. Personally, I enjoyed the series for what it was, definetly not the type of story you see go this deep that often and I did like the characters too.

Candy Boy

Candy Boy deals with the feelings between twin sisters Kanade and Yukino. Now, some may be turned off by the concept of incest, but this one is actually quite well done, mutual love and understanding from the start and done in a more mature way, in my opinion, instead of onee san / onii chan jokes that tend to show up in other series. Is quite short (3 OVAs and 7 ONAs each around 10 minutes long), some episodes with pure fluff, some other with a bit more drama, is a series that I recommend to give it a shot, it shows how can an incest show work in a good way.

Sakura Trick

To sum up this show, well...

Yea...is just a fluffy comedy about lesbians with lots of kissing, is probably the most physical yuri show outside of hentai. No drama, no tragedy, just pure fun with lesbians. Don't really have much more to say than that, go watch it :)
