I'm not sure how I'll rank Orange when all this is over. It handles heavy emotion well...but the animation quality and directing seem pretty poor to me. This last episode shifted from the old timeline to the current timeline without much warning...it was the current timeline at the end right? I feel like this story probably doesn't lend itself to animation all that well.

On a more positive note, it basically took two whole seasons, but I love that we're finally seeing Souma actually act like a rookie. Sometimes I wonder why they hell he's even in school for. Watching him struggle for once was a great change of pace for his character development. Definitely psyched for the finale.

Shokugeki will likely be my AOTS...despite the poor pacing. I started reading the manga recently...and this season rushed and skimmed way too much. Still a great ride...but I'm not going to regret being caught up on the source material when season 3 comes out.

Sad to finish Re Zero, it was a great season and I hope to see the next one quickly... This week's Shokugeki was fun and a nice change of pace. I'll start to watch the new season's animes soon.

Right now, I'm finally watching Tengen Toppa. After 12 episodes so far, it's a great anime. But I really hate Yoko and the crew after the shit they did to Simon, they pretty much deserved to be left on their own to die.

Re: Zero is weird. When the suffering happens I look at the spin-offs and wonder how nice would it be if at times the character and just chill and have a good time. But now with this happy ending, my mind is complaining about the lack of suffering (just a little bit).

Well, RIP my every week's dose of suffering.

Some sad news

Those that watched Toonami back in the day might remember this guy. The original host of the anime block Toonami from Cartoon Network.

C. Martin Croker , the voice of Moltar^(character up there) has passed away this sunday morning at the age of 54. He not only did that, but also voiced several characters on a number of shows on both Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, most notably Space Ghost: Coast to Coast villains Zorak and Moltar. He introduced an entire generation of young viewers to the wonderful world of anime, including Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo and Dragon Ball Z.

R.I.P He died way too young at the age of 54. Toonami was what got me into anime in the first place.
