Besides being really good, it's also notable because it can teach you a lot about the anime industry and how insane the schedule can be.  It's very informativie and it has a lot of references to real figures and events.

Never heard of an anime about anime development, let alone one that does it in depth. I'll see if I can start it this week.

This thread is dangerously close to falling off my buddy. Better say something important.

I like seeing Erina's cute side in Shokugeki. I wish I'd see it more often. Not that I mind the ice princess either, but she might surpass Alice at this rate. To achieve such a great balance of cute and sexy is no easy feat. *adjusts glasses*

Still don't think there's even a snowball's chance in hell of Soma losing this match, but I suppose I'm not really watching this for the suspense. He might lose in finals against Akira, but the judges will probably be like: "Oh but he kinda won if you think about it." Calling it now.

I hope that's the last time Subaru loathes himself with these awful outbursts, the character development was nice but a lot of that time could've been used to adapt more important content relevant to the story ...

Sad that Rem got friendzoned but she should've known way before where Subaru's heart truly belonged, to Satella ...

Too many mistakes were made for it to be AOTY worthy IMO but it could very much be the runner up ...

Yep...  If he some day decided to not try to save rem, and she permanently dies while he moves forwards.... that would be a bad day for the anime.

Yep...  If he some day decided to not try to save rem, and she permanently dies while he moves forwards.... that would be a bad day for the anime.

With Danganronpa 3 on one hand and this possible Re Zero scenario on the other, I'm not sure that I'll keep my sanity until the end of the season... :/

Yeah, I agree.  Took 18 episodes but hopefully Subaru starts being someone I don't actively hate from this point on.  It's been an uphill battle, though, and I feel like this anime should have been so much better.  For every good episode, there was a redundant episode, plus some sloppy writing.  No way does this deserve praise that high, at least not at this point. 

And I still want to know why people forgot Rem.

Because the white whale erases someone's existence when it eats/kills them.
