You underestimate Jojo then...

I will say one thing, it's not called Jojo's BIZARRE Adventure without a reason ;)  You should give the first season a try and see for yourself. I think you'll enjoy it.

I would but I'm pretty put off by the art style and the dripping testosterone.

Make a Jojo with switched genders and a modern art style and I'm all in.

I was actually put off by the art style and pretty much only representation being flexing buff guys at first too. Then I watched the first 29 episodes which I suppose makes up the first two parts, and it was surprisingly great. Character names get increasingly hilarious as you realize how many of them are just lifted names of American classic rock bands, and otherwise the action is well done. At times they get a little too into the whole "explaining everything you just saw" thing that the more action focused show tends to suffer from (*coughHxHChimeraAntArccough*), but otherwise the show is a lot of fun to watch.

The first two parts even have a surprisingly great dub available if you want the show to maximize its bizarre nature. Really though, you just kind of have to watch the first five or six episodes and see how it all clicks.

Most people are put off by the art style. But like Lucky said, it's a great series if you give it a chance. If anything the art style is actually a parody of manly anime, hence why they pose a lot and the author took a lot of inspiration from the fist of the north star art. The art style does change after  Part 3 to a more stylish art without any big muscles thankfully and looks really good. Just giving the first few episodes a shot should give you an idea of how the show really is. Also, part 6 is actually mostly girls, but that ain't being animated for a while :P and all Jojos have strong female characters, so it's not only guys.

Sadly that doesn't work for me. I am a person that watches a minimum of 20 animes every season, usually around 25. I already have to limit myself to the animes that really interest me. So if there is an anime that does not instantly entice me by art style, theme or PV I have to let it go. As long as I have trouble to keep up with animes that are actually interesting there is no room for side adventures.

Allright then, it's your call man.

Same, especially after how season 2 ended.

Share my pain guys...one day hopefully it'll happen.

Interesting news today. Apparently Regalia was canceled after ep 4. According to the creators the quality was lower than they envisioned it. It's gonna restart with the first episode in september.

I actually have never seen an anime canceled mid season before.

Wishlisted!

It's actually absolutely not bad. Qualitywise it's actually slightly above average compared to the rest of the animes this season. Which makes this decision even weirder.

They probably recruited Studio Titanic to help out and they completely dropped the ball. Now, in an effort to prevent a second Jiggly Heaven incident, they will have to start Regalia from scratch on a totally different schedule. That sounds right, right?

I am watching now Shirobako.

Well basically an anime about an anime studio watched trough mostly Aoi who with her friends always wanted to make their own anime.
Personally a must watch for any anime fan it makes you appreciate anime a lot more.

I am kind of shocked how unpopular it is based on ratings especially for a show that is very recent.
Honestly this is more of my cup of tea, I like 'more' realistic anime and you feel the struggle of some characters.  I enjoy New Game but some moments make me cringe and feels like fan service.   Anyway Shirobako and Genshiken are the kind of anime that i enjoy the most. Tried some other anime because I want to find a very funny one, As a teen I was really into Azumanga D'aioh pity their will never a Yotsuba& anime.

Also awkward to read Lucky's last comment cause the studio titanic is also in the anime:
