Favorite anime game is Bleach: The 3rd Phantom. It's a tactical/strategy RPG on the DS that plays similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, but with a combat system similar to Fire Emblem. The story follows a couple of original characters that existed around the time of the Turn Back the Pendulum gaiden, but eventually come forward in time to interact with the main characters of the anime. It's mostly original material, but a few canon fights at the beginning of the Arrancar arc are playable in the game. It has its faults, but overall the combat system is a lot of fun, the intermission periods are amusing, and it's great fanservice overall. The game gives the option to name your own zanpakutou, choose a power and specialty, and if you time your training sessions right, even master Bankai. The latter wasn't necessary to complete the main story, but still felt very rewarding in this game.

Dang, now I kinda want to play it again.

For the other question...I'd love to see a modern Fire Emblem anime. Path of Radiance would adapt extremely well IMO...with the story largely focusing on the MC's character arc, rather than jumping between several different POVs.

Late night topic depending on where in the world you live.

Best video game based off of an anime

!!!! A wild second topic has appeared !!!!

What video game would you like to see be turned into an anime?

For the first topic, I haven't really play many games based off of anime. i don't like fighting games so that cuts out most of them. I want to play the SAO games. My pick though would be Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone complex. I had fun with it.

The witcher would be my pick for the second topic. I really like the world and lore in it. I plan on reading the books.

By the way, this drama with the American woman moving in with the Japanese family is pretty interesting.  I know it's not the place for it and I might get moderated but I'm willing to face my fears head on.  Cat pictures will not break me.

She does get some pretty mean insults, though I'm not sure if it isn't just because the one girl is a bitch.

I came to say this, but forgot to. I would like the entire radiance series adapted

What a horrid day I've had with Funimation UK, tried signing in today but it said the password was wrong, requested a password reset. I never received it, so I created a dummy account to see if the email I used was still locked to that account but surprise surprise it was free to use, even the username I originally used was free ;-;

I submitted a ticket telling my account was compromised and to close it as I have a recurring payment set up and heard nothing back yet.. had to cancel my card.

I found this in they're T&S, "Funimation reserves the right to terminate your account for any or no reason."

If that's how they treat they're premium paying subscribers... well fuck em.

That sucks, good thing we have a lot of alternatives to watch anime.

That sucks that you had to go through all that. Especially with having to cancel your card.

Some of their anime is really good but I dropped their service because it was just crappy.

Maybe in the future, they'll fix the issue with their streaming service.

That's...wow. I have no idea why that would even happen. That sounds like a ridiculous business model if they really just closed your account for no reason..especially if you have a premium sub.

So far I haven't had any issues with my NA account, though I'm only a semi-premium member (I think that's what it's called)...but I'll keep this in mind. Hopefully your issue is just a misunderstanding though.

Finally found time to get to last season's animes I haven't finished yet. Just finished Haikyuu. Really is the best sports anime I have ever seen if you don't count Saki. 9/10

Just finished the second season after seeing your post and realizing I never watched the last ten episodes. I had been waiting for the season to finish and then just sort of forgot about it. Seriously good stuff. Season three is coming this Fall too!

Another anime finished
Planetes
rating (8) year 2003

Plot Summary: In the year 2075, mankind has reached a point where journeying between Earth, the moon and the space stations is part of daily life. However, the progression of technology in space has also resulted in the problem of the space debris, which can cause excessive and even catastrophic damage to spacecrafts and equipment. This is the story of Technora's Debris Collecting section, its EVA worker, Hachirota "Hachimaki" Hoshino, and the newcomer to the group, Ai Tanabe.

My guilty pleasure for this season? Hundred. Not the best anime but it's entertaining to me.
