Sabaru in Re:zero really gets on my nerves when he nervously rants or jokes. Dude, just calm down and let other speak for a bit. Hopefully, as the characters grows he becomes less annoying or more respectable. I kinda wish the anime would just stick with the more serious tone.

I think you missed the whole point of this ep. Subaru's whole attitude was just a cover to mask how tramutized he is. Its a defense mechanism, and the whole point of this episode was for it to get on your nerves since he was trying really hard to stay positive.

I was talking more about the character in general up to this point. He reminds me of one of those people whenever they get really nervous or uncomfortable, they just talk alot/over people. I don't like that kind of person in all honesty because that's the opposite of me. That annoying trait of his has been on my mind for the last couple of episodes. He really needs to mellow out or tone it down because it's getting more annoying as the anime goes on. The rest of his personality doesn't bother me.

I've never watched Full metal alchemist. Is it a good show? And is "brotherhood" good as well?

I haven't seen the original adaption of Full Metal Alchemist but I hear it's good. FMA: Brotherhood faithfully adapts the original source which is the manga compared to it's first anime adaption where it had to heavily diverge from the manga since it surpassed the material the manga had ...

I highly recommend both of them, especially if you like the genre. Like I mentioned in my post earlier, it's a real standout for me, and one of the few long-running shonen series I've watched that remains strong all the way to the conclusion.

Both anime start off roughly the same, but there's a plot divergence around halfway into the first anime (and about 1/3 way into Brotherhood), as the original manga was still running at the time, and the anime ran out of material to adapt. I preferred Brotherhood between the two, but there is some content prior to the plot divergance that is handled better in the original anime.  If you really want to get want to get the full experience, you could watch both, but Brotherhood does a much better job overall IMO.

So Subaru can tell people about how he met them previously and talk about events that he witnessed back in time and that he knows what will happen in the future but he can't tell anyone about being able to time travel.
Please stop this bullshit.

Topic time!

Out of curiosity, anybody have a long running show you'd like to get into or that you've been neglecting for a while and want to get back to? Or maybe you don't care for long running shows anymore and just watch normal length series now(12-24 eps)?Either way I wanna know!

For me, I still enjoy long running shows a lot and am currently catching up on yugioh zexal.

I want to get back to Naruto and One Piece but I just have no time. I might also go back to Hunter x Hunter one day. And then I started Soul Eater in the meantime. Yeah I got a lot of long shit to continue.
