Random(cute) pic of the day

Hero Academia is getting to be almost unwatchable with how self-absorbed Katsuki is ...
Re Zero is testing my patience. I've come to a point where I'm seriously starting to despise the MC.

Finish hell girl anime
Hell Girl rating (7) year 2005
Plot Summary: Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there's a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin, rumor has it that if you post a grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the inferno. Very little is known about the girl—all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three magical straw dolls accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo.
Hell Girl: Two Mirrors rating (7) year 2006 second season.
Hell Girl: Three Vessels rating (7) year 2008 third season.

I haven't posted here in awhile, so I guess I'll give my general thoughts on this season so far from what I've been watching:
My Hero Academia: As the big show that Funimation is pushing this season, and what was one of the most hotly anticipated anime because it was supposed to be the next great shonen masterpiece, I find it okay. It is moving really slowly so far, probably because they want to make it long running (or maybe it's already planned to be, dunno), and certain characters ("Kacchan" anybody?) really need some rapid character development or for less time to be devoted to them. It would also be nice if our chronically anxiety ridden protagonist would show some semblance of control over his power, even if only for a surprising instant. I'll keep watching, but I would be hard pressed to call it the best of the season.
Re: Zero: This one I just watched on a whim during a bout of insomnia and ended up getting hooked. The protagonist has some development to do, but from what I understand, this is also going to be a 25 episode run, so they have the time to flesh out the character as he better understands his kinda sorta gift. Overall I like the concept, I like how easily it flips between lighthearted and straight up murder, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this continues to progress.
Kabaneri: Dark, good action, pretty decent. Overall one of the stars of the season. I think the show may be having a bit of hard time figuring out where it wants to go, with episode four being great and then episode five being kind of slow with the shaky alliance business. I have faith next episode will be as good as the first few episodes though, matching intensity and action. Gonna keep up with this one.
Bungou Stray Dogs: I wish it would stick with the slightly darker tone since the darker episodes are where the show has really shined so far, but this is a pretty decent one overall. In a lackluster season, this one shines with stupidly fun characters in a world where powers are a real thing, with high stakes keeping everything in perspective. The suicide shtick is surprisingly still entertaining.
Hundred sucks, Endride failed to even slightly entertain me with one episode, that Online Girl one or whatever is at least a little funny, and Cerberus was also really bad in the first episode. Otherwise nothing has stood out as being worth giving a shot this season. I'm not impressed as a whole, but there are at least a few shows worth watching.

Assassination Classroom and Hero Academia are both pretty great, and I find myself excited for every new episode. Hero Academia moreso lately. I like most of the characters so far, even the dick rival. He reminds me of Grimmjow in Bleach, especially with his tsun scene after Izuku saved him. I think he's only going to get harsher for now, but I'm hoping he gets an actual hero moment before the season is over, rather than going off the deep end.
Next week should be interesting, especially since the first real villain character will supposedly be introduced. I like that voice actor, he's done a few roles I like.
Worst show so far...hrm...Kiznaiver and Bungo have been off and on for me. I'm curious what'll happen next...but I don't mind delaying either. Neither are bad...just not amazing enough to get me to post more than this short blurb.
I also haven't watched Luluco for like three weeks, but it doesn't feel right comparing that to the rest. I'll marathon it all in like half an hour. Just haven't really cared enough.
And Jojo is Jojo. Stupid and campy at times, but I can't help but get attached to these idiots. It has a certain charm that works for me, and I find myself grinning a lot while watching. Speaking of which, I need to go bug Shadow about it.

I'm going to be optimistic here. The last anime I watched where the male MC was an asshole that made every girl's life miserable was School Days. And that had a happy ending.
