Yes I love that ARC!!!!!!! As for Shippuden, I stopped watching after the arc where Sai and that Wooden jutsu guy joined. I don't think i'll be going back to it anytime soon.........

That's like the very beginning xD , but yea shippuden just doesnt live up to the original. Although the Pain Arc in Shippuden wasn't that bad.

Yeah! HAHAHAHAHA. I think that was the time where the only animes I knew was like Naruto, DBZ, Pokemon, One Piece and those other popular ones. =D

Pocky Lover Boy!

Around the Network

I quit Naruto when it jumped back into filler after the Exam Arc. I was interested in what Satsuke was doing, and with Hinata's conflicts, but not interested enough to deal with more filler. Also, from what I understand, Naruto started winning a lot by going SSJ and that kind of thing doesn't appeal to me. It's almost as bad as Natsu's "Friendship Power" victories in Fairy Tail.

Reminds me of Bleach. I loved the first arc but then I watched the next arc without knowing it was filler and my opinion started going down. Eventually I found a filler guide, went back to it, and enjoyed it much more by skipping a lot of the meaningless fluff.

Bleach is so good if you skip the fillers(Aizen is Boss), but yea the bount arc is terrible(that filler arc dragging on for about 50 episodes did not help!). Can't wait for the last arc to be animated, its gonna be the best one :)

The good ol' Casual days. I was the same until I started watching romcoms, started with zero no tsukaima, clannad(my fav!) and toradora. Still read the casual ones, just now I've broaden my preferences and now watch all types of anime :)

Is that true?  Honestly, I quit again before that last arc was finished, where he got the new powers.  It was like an entirely new anime and I did not like it at all.

If Bleach had been able to maintain some of the quality from the best arcs through-out, it would have gotten a LOT more respect.  As it is, even though I enjoyed good portions of it, I don't even try to defend it most of the time.

I'm guessing you're talking about the fullbringer arc(last arc that got animated ), yea it's the weakest non-filler arc and drags on quite a bit, but I did like the last few episodes where he regains his soul reaper powers. Thankfully, though the 1000 Year Blood War Arc makes up for it completely and then some, (Little Spoilish, but not much)Everybody gets their spotlight and we see never-before seen bankais. We get backstory for Ichigo's Dad and Mom and a lot of plot twists that Kubo was hiding. Quincies are a major part of the story now too. If you enjoyed the soul society arc, I'm sure you'll love this one.

The Pain arc was honestly the last arc in that series that really interested me, but even then I could tell I wouldn't like the direction it was going. I preferred Naruto as the goofy underdog, so turning him into the Chosen One who comes from a clan of Super Saiyans absolutely ruined his story for me. The sad thing is how Naruto actually spoke out against fate in Part I...only for Part II to throw that whole theme out the window. What the heck?!

I had a lot of other faults with the story at that point...but I still read it until ~600 or so before dropping it. The manga just seemed so foreign to me at that point, so I couldn't bring myself to care about it. And from the spoilers I've read regarding the ending...it seems like Kishi was the same way.

Hm...well the author seemed to love Sasuke, so if he was a character you were interested in you would might enjoy it. It was the opposite for me, which is another reason I grew exhausted of the series. His descent just grew too far into the realm of disbelief...at a certain point it baffled me how anyone could possibly relate to him.

Hinata though....frick. If you saw the Chunin Exam arc then you probably know everything there is to know about her character. The poor girl dissapears for like 400 chapters, and only returns for one short scene that the anime severely exaggerates before dissapearing for another 200 chapters or so. I suppose her ending was positive...for what it's worth, but if you were interested in her story then you would definitely be dissapointed.

Eh...the current manga arc has had some high points, but it's been dragging on for a while. For the last year it's basically been giving every character a Bankai or a true Bankai or a modified Bankai. I still read it...but it's definitely a far cry from the Shinigami and Arrancar arcs. Aizen and Grimmjow have returned...but have basically done nothing for the past year....which also makes me annoyed since I liked their characters.

The only positive I'd give it is that the new villain is pretty interesting...even if his keikaku is Aizen levels of absurd.

To be clear about Bleach, I'm not really much of a fan of Ichigo.  I like when it includes everyone rather than when it just centers on him.  Soul Society members are the best, good or bad.

That's too bad.  She was one of my favorite characters.  I liked her story and thought her internal conflict allowed a lot of room for character growth.  The way the Chunin Exam arc ended, it seemed like she was going to be a regular member of the cast.

Edit:  ERASED is awesome but now I'm sad that I have to wait another whole week.  ARGH.

Don't play with me, ERASED! DON'T PLAY WITH ME! We know that Hinazuki is going to die again. Or rather, you know she died again by the ending of the episode, where no way would she have not come to school to fulfill her promise. They have to make the point that the flow of time is not so easily changed in an event like this.

Also, I think the teacher did it. He seems too suspicious.

Yeah, he was far too confident and focused on keeping her alive for that one day.  It's not like he's dealing with a random accident.  The killer might not be someone who depends on opportunity but rather someone who selects his victims.  In that case, all he did was delay the killer taking action, not stop him completely.  He tried hard but it most likely is nowhere near that easy, especially since that other kid in his group was also a victim.

His mom is so cool, though.  Makes me really sad for what happened in the future and the way their relationship fell apart.
