Do you notice what's missing from those screenshots? People. Anytime you look at something with animations in Skyrim, any immersion gained from the mods is completely gone. I know that you can get borderline better lighting, textures etc on PC, I know I can because I spent 3x the amount that I did on my PS4, but it's about the overall package and that includes art design and (very importantly for me) animations
If you're talking directly about Uncharted 4, compare the reveal trailers for U2, U3 and the Last of Us to the actual released games. There ain't much difference
But anyway, it's very simple. There were some very impressive games graphically on PS3 and 360, now we have 6-7 year newer technology, games are going to look a lot better.
So far, it's working. Shadowfall looks incredible and inFamous Second Son the same. Star Citizen probably looks slightly better, but it's about 2 1/2 years away from actual release. In terms of graphics, Drive Club is what I'm looking to blow me away this winter and AC Unity amazing too, even if it's borlerline better on PC (Ubi are crap at PC releases). Destiny has already been spoken about....

There are some amazing people mods as well, but like I said, Skyrim is almost three years old, not everything is perfect. The simple fact that people managed to make landscapes that are pretty much next-gen shows the prowess of PC.
And if you honestly expect Drake to look like that during actual gameplay sequences, I would be prepared to be disappointed. There is a big difference between rendering a cutscene and rendering gameplay.
And I never said that PS4/One look bad, they look great. It's just that PCs will easily and consistently outperform them in a year or two once games like Elder Scrolls VI, Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Star Citizen, GTA V mods, etc. come out. The difference between consoles and PC has never been greater in a generation, and I expect that to start showing once more next-gen PC development starts.

Mods aren't perfect. They're often a pain to install and often don't work. The ENB series for GTA has given me so much trouble I just gave up
We'll see. All I can say is that you have to look at what Naughty Dog has done in the past
They will probably, if you look very high end. As I said, i've spent 3x what I did on my PS4 with my PC {it's actually more than that, considering that I have a second monitor and even more than that since I share my PS4 with my brother} and I have a 670 based system. I won't be able to keep up 60fps Ultra for much longer and that's what's needed to beat PS4.
The real question is how many games are going to be designed to target a Titan Black and how many are going to to be designed for a PS4? I know with their "highly PC like" specs, they won't get quite as many benefits from optimisation, but they will keep up for a bit, it's just where the market is. Mods can only do so much
There is (at least) 1 clear exception, STAR CITIZEN. Now I've backed this game quite a lot and while a bit of me fears that my 670 won't be able to keep up for long, the other part of me wants to find £2,000 to spend on a 4K upgrade.... Now that would make a difference
