I don't understand all the salty comments.

Well, I don't think it's a 10 either. I quit halfway through it the first time, and will try to give it a second chance.

However, I do not write or own a gaming website, so my opinion is not that important when it comes to Metacritic. The scores are those that they are, most people love the game, have enjoyed it, and surely some think it's worth 11/10. 

I doubt there will be a game soon to dethrone TLoU from the top of the scoreboard, perhaps we will need to wait for Uncharted 4, or even longer until GTA VI.

Ehh, I don't think this warrants a 10, particularly considering that many of the old broken aspects remain broken, but a good game is bound to get good reviews in general.

I guess in this generation, though, having shiny 1080p and being made by ND warrants 10/10s.

Why are so many people pissed off about this game being remade? I'm betting if it were multi-platform it wouldn't draw this much heat? After all, GTA V is being remade and people are relatively quiet about that. If the game were a game that would received 7-8.5 ratings no one would care or nay say.

It's a Playstation exclusive, what's not to understand?

For future reference, I'm not saying the last of us is anything less than great.  I really enjoyed the game, if I had a ps4 I would by the remastered version and play it again.  But saying "see reviews" isn't an argument at all.  

Agreed! But dude, be honest. You'd not be so ticked off about it had TLOU been an X1 game. It's OK. Sony fanboys react similarly in the same situation. You're not alone.

In a thread that's quite literally about Reviews for the game in question, I'd suggest it's the only argument to be made.

I have always hated that concept "no game is perfect". No one who gives a 10 says the game is perfect. They says its a "masterpiece" not the same. Basically a 10 means as good as it gets.
