All right guys. Today I want to talk about one of my favorite type of games. And they are cel shaded games. Generally most of the anime games fall in this categoty so I am including them. I am citing my most favorite cel shaded / anime game. I am also citing some have about which I am very curious. So here it goes.

Wind Waker (HD) is probably the best cel shaded game out there.

I wish Xilia had been better... I wish Tales games would be good again in general.

Zone of the Enders the Second Runner a PS2 game that was remastered for PS3, and it looks just as good if not better than some actual PS3 cell shaded games.

PS3 version is the way to go (1080p vs 720p on the 360) plus framerate was fixed to 60 fps, thanks to a patch made by Hexadrive.

Ni No Kuni is my favorite (Studio Ghibli cut scenes!)
Windwaker simply looks stunning.
Herdy Gerdy first made me a favorite of 3D cell shading.

For 2D cell shading, Monkey island 3 without a doubt.

Does Valkyria Chronicles count? If it does, it wins by a long shot.

If not,

Graphics-wise, nothing beats Ni no kuni. Sadly the battle system is horrid and I had to quit after getting the third character. It just because a clusterf...

Tales of Xillia is the best Anime-styled game I played on the ps3 with ToGF a close second.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Are you referring to the curse of moneky island? Finally I got someone who has played it. That was was awesome. I can recall I was laughing when I played the game. That game was a masterpiece.

For cel shaded games, Wild ARMs 3 and Dragon Quest 8 are good RPGs.

For anime games, Mobile Suit Gundam games are some of the best. Here are a few really good ones.

Yup that's the one. Together with Grim Fandango the height of PC adventure games imo.

And they replaced that with this... criminal.

Valkyria Chronicles is probably the best cell shaded game i've ever played.

Wind Waker HD, Okami, Jet Set Radio, Viewtiful Joe and Killer 7 ( I bet nobody knows about this game) are some of the best cel-shaded games ever!
