Forums - Nintendo - Should I get a second Wii U?

i would say buy another console. that way you can have more games to play. you got games on both PS and XBox that appeal to kids and to you. so if some are on one console the others can play other games. it just makes more sense than to buy another console just to play the same games.

Eh, he sounds like he lives in a crowded household that would benefit most from extensive local multiplayer and more options for off-screen play. Then again I still think three N64s between two gamers was a good call in my childhood.

I really don't want to sound bad or ignorant, but outside of Knack what next-gen exclusives are there on PS4 or Xbone that are aimed at E-veryone?

If Nintendo didn't tie the games to your console it would be a no brainer. Your second Wii U will not have access to your current digital library.

If Nintendo decides to switch that to accounts instead of consoles I would buy 2 more Wii U's for my house.

This doesn't sound like a question. It's like you just want us to agree so you can run into the next shop and buy what you want.

So....YES, YOU SHOULD.

;)

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

In your case......YES indeed.

I have three Gamecubes at my house, two Wiis, and one Wii U. The number of Wii Us will most certainly rise in the coming months, as I don't share my Wii U with my sisters.

It's only natural to have more than one of a console when you have a big family like that who all play games. Go buy another Wii U!
