So they opted to not have 60 fps? :(

Bungie is hardcore pursuing parity, probably not to alienate more gamer than they already have by going multi-platform.

You know OP, there's no reason for this to be a gloating thread. I remember you trying to lecture people about how silly the whole console war thing is but here you are...

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

So they find the PS4 version superior and the X1 version is supposed to look the same, but that remains to be seen? We knew that part already..

well at least there will be games like uncharted 4 to actually take advantage of that massive hardware gap.

I am guessing this will be the theme for this generation, most multiplats will be equal, differences will be in exclusive content and first party titles.

And last gen too, and the gen before. I know PS3 had some shoddy ports early on, and some 360 games didnt look as good as their PS3 counteparts, but after everything was upscaled and whatnot, the games looked nearly the same. Even the best MS had to offer didnt look far off from the PS3's best. The thing about  50% better graphics from PS4 may be the truth but after optimizing and upscaling(and due to deminshing returns) you arent going to see many major differences between the two consoles.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Maybe in practice that gap ain't so massive?

A gap seems to exist, its just not massive.

Destiny could have/should have been 1080p/60fps on PS4. Bungie went for parity, 'nuff said.

If the goal was 1080p/60 fps, the game would likely have less polish.

Frankly, there aren't example of games with this visual quality running at a solid 60 fps on PS4.

If it makes you feel better they didn't go for parity on 7th gen consoles. It looks way better on the 360.

Yep :/ It's a shame, but oh well. 3rd parties were never going to be the ones to push the PS4 much, that's why we have 1st parties

Look up graphical diminishing returns.

"Massive" is not reality.
